I’ll start this by stating something controversial. Your physical development isn’t my primary concern. If you switched off after reading that, then at least we know where we both stand. If you’re still reading, allow me a chance to explain, for it won’t take long. If you train with us, you will get results. If you listen to what we ask you to do, and work hard doing it, you will get to where you want to be. That isn’t up for debate.
What we do works. Not sometimes. It works all the time. Have a look at some of the members stories we’ve posted, or come in and see for yourself.
With this in mind, my statement above makes a lot more sense. My primary concern is your attitude. The development of your psychological state (specifically, but not entirely, related to exercise) is what we’re interested in. You see, if your attitude changes towards getting to the gym, towards discomfort, towards how much you’re willing to suffer, then the battle is won.
As Mark Twight so eloquently puts it, “the rest of the time it’s just picking shit up and putting it down.”
I read the other day that we have to suffer no matter what, for we must either suffer to get to where we want to be, or we must suffer with the disappointment of not getting there.
It’s your attitude that matters most most in this place.
